"Off Our Trolley" Carnival & Community Arts was
formed in 2003 by Garry Jones.
Garry studied at the University of Central England for BA Honours degree in 3D Design- Theatre Design.
Worked in the Theatre at the Birmingham Royal Ballet and with the Royal Shakespeare Company in costumes
and props.
As a Freelance Artist Designer has worked on various art projects in partnership with numerous art organisations
including ,Ikon Gallery,Urban fusion,Artsites,Creative Partnership.
Carnivals include Artfest Birmingham,Artsalive Walsall,Caldmore Carnival,Birmingham Pride Parade,Birmingham Handsworth
Carnival,Shiffnal Carnival and numerous other carnivals with local authorities,education services & charities.
Awarded a creative ambition award by the Arts Council to work & train at the Sydney Mardi Gras Australia
in 2001.
A founder member of the West Midlands Carnival Network,most recently nominated by the Arts Council England
for an International Carnival Scholarship2007 in Trinidad and Tobago.
